Borns Jewish Studies Program

This course will explore select Yiddish and American-English works of fiction, drama, nonfiction – memoirs and autobiographic belletristic writings, as well as some Yiddish feature films and Yiddish related documentaries to tracing some major elements of modern Yiddish experience in Eastern Europe and America throughout the last two centuries retained between imaginative record of reality and creative works of fiction.
